Aaron Mochizuki, DO

A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona

"The people at the University of Hawaii pediatrics program were the biggest draw: unfailingly kind, dedicated to their patients and exceptionally well-rounded. Hawaii's vibrant culture, balanced lifestyle and spectacular scenery were just icing on the cake."

Aaron is a through-and-through Seattleite, raised on healthy portions of black coffee, hilly jogging routes, pretentious microbrews, mountainous hiking and copious rainy weather. For undergrad, he studied English lit and chemistry at the University of Washington. He then worked with South Seattle's Latino population through Community HealthCorps, moving on to research prostate cancer with the UW and VA. Aaron attended A. T. Still University in Arizona for medical school, doing his clerkships back home in the Puget Sound region. He is currently enjoying Hawaii's ridiculous amount of sunshine, its lovely people and bountiful Japanese food.
