E-Mails sent to 17th World Congress Mailing List Registrants
April 4, 2003
We are temporarily having trouble with the Hilton Waikoloa Village hotel online registration. Please be assured, rooms are still available at the special Congress prices. If you have any difficulty reserving your room, please let us know and we shall make sure that you get the reservation you desire.

We have been asked how many rooms an attendee can reserve, since some people (like myself!) plan to come with family members or friends. There is no problem booking extra rooms. As long as the party says they are with the Psychosomatic Medicine Conference, they will get the preferred rate even if they don’t register for the meeting.

Early registration for the 17th World Congress (by April 21) is recommended. Please note that the cancellation fee before July 1 is less the additional fee for registering after April 21. We are rushing to process all abstract submissions by April 15. If you receive notice of an accepted abstract too late for early registration, we shall honor the early registration fee.

Continuing Education: In addition to AMA approved category I CME credits, all participants will receive a continuing education certificate. We have now been approved to offer American Psychological Association Continuing Education credits also. These require a small fee, but the Congress will pay for the first $80 worth of these fees.

Some wonderful new sightseeing opportunities have developed and we shall inform you about these soon.

The scientific program is looking so exciting that I think I will cut short my own sightseeing until after the Congress!

If you missed the tips and information contained in the previous email updates, these will be posted on the website soon.

Aloha,

Jon Streltzer, M.D.
