All nine laptops (for 9 rooms) will be setup and available for file transfer. Laptops will have a CD-ROM drive and an external floppy drive. We will have a few USB ZIP 250 drives for those that bring files on that media type. CD is the preferred media if you are able. We will be able to take a quick look at your presentations to fully confirm compatibility. We urge all presenters to utilize this service so as to minimize confusion and save time between presentations. | ||
| Many of the speakers have submitted the requested AV form. Many have yet to do this. PLEASE send us an e-mail, letting us know what AV equipment you will be using for your presentation. This will help us to allocate our technical resources appropriately. Please let us know which of the following AV equipment types you will be using: | ||
| Congress provided PC laptop Using your own laptop 35mm slides Other AV equipment |
||
| If you have special needs (eg. playback of movie or AVI files with sound, please let us know). | ||
| For our many presenters from Asia & Europe, if you are using non-US font sets, etc. it may be wise to utilize your own laptop or adjust the presentation per the U.S. keyboard. | ||
| If you receive an e-mail providing this same information and asking the same questions please accept our apologies for the redundancy. Please e-mail your presentation needs information to Gary Belcher gbelcher@hawaii.edu Any questions, just send an e-mail and we'll answer ASAP | ||
